William Daniels, famously known as Mr. George Feeney on the beloved show Boy Meets World, recently had a heartwarming reunion with some of his former students from the cast.
The actor, who is now 97 years old, posed for a photo with Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong, and Will Friedle, bringing back memories of the cherished show.
In the snapshot shared by Daniels on X (formerly known as Twitter), the actor can be seen with his wife Bonnie Bartlett, who also appeared on Boy Meets World.
Strong, who played Shawn Hunter on the show, bent down to pose with the couple, while Fishel, known for her role as Topanga Lawrence-Matthews, wrapped an arm around Daniels. Friedle, who portrayed Eric Matthews, also joined in the sweet reunion by wrapping an arm around Bartlett.
Daniels later shared another photo where he posed with Fishel, who hugged him tightly. It’s clear that the bond between the cast members is still strong after all these years.
“Just a little reunion with my favorite students!!” Daniels captioned the photo, expressing his joy at reconnecting with his former colleagues.
This isn’t the first time Daniels has reunited with the Boy Meets World cast. They recently received a standing ovation at 90s Con in March, and prior to that, they enjoyed a birthday dinner together before their appearances at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo in 2023.
Daniels, who celebrated his 97th birthday in April, opened up about his gratitude for his career and his family. “I am so lucky to have had such wonderful material to work with over the years, which has created my career,” he said. “I am also grateful for having such a special, wonderful family.”
The beloved show Boy Meets World aired from 1993 to 2000, and it continues to captivate audiences of all ages. The story of Cory Matthews, played by Ben Savage, and his journey through adolescence with the guidance of his trusted teacher, Mr. Feeney, resonates with people around the world.
